Latch repair made easy, replace missing or broken "concealed latches" with a surface mount slide latch. Features a stainless steel wrap-around cover plate for a 1" thick, round edge, in-swing door. Includes necessary accessory parts all chrome plated zamak hardware. All kits include tamper proof (6-lobe) fasteners with 'Torx' hex bit for securing. Hides unsightly holes in doors and increases strength and durability.

Installation Instructions
  1. Fit 'Cover Plate' to edge of door and center over existing 'concealed latch' hole.
  2. Press firmly to door edge.
  3. Using a 1/4" drill bit, drill (4) holes thru the door, using holes in cover plate as a template.
  4. Secure 'cover plate' to door with the included (2) 5/8" barrel nuts and (2) #10-24 x 15/16" shoulder screws.
  5. Mount latch to door with the included (2) 1/2" unslotted barrel nuts and (2) #8-32 x 1 1/8" machine screws. When installing the outside pull, it will require the use of the included (2) #8-32 x 1 3/8" machine screws and no barrel nuts.
  6. Locate strike/keeper and mark the installation holes. If necessary, use the included spacer plate under the keeper as needed to adjust the latch bolt.
  7. Drill thru pilaster using a 1/4" drill bit. Secure strike and keeper using the included (2) 5/8" barrel nuts and (2) #10-24 x 1 3/16" shoulder screws.
