How do I get the coil balance shoe into the window track?

To remove/replace coil balance pivot shoes

For lower/inner sash there should be a cut out at the top of master-frame, it may be behind the sash stop, if not cut to slide the pivot shoe out/in.

For upper/exterior sash there should be a cut out at bottom of master frame, it may be behind the sash stop, if not cut to slide the pivot lock shoe out/in.
