21-109 Pin Cap and upper track

A home owner from Chicago says:
Is the lip of the this pin cap supposed to be positioned inside the upper track? On some of my Leigh TruVu metal bifold doors, the in caps are set that way; and for the rest of them, the lip is below the track. Before adjusting the doors' hardware ,I'd like to know if I need to slide the lip of this pin cap inside the upper track or not.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Good question! The top cylinder fits into the track and the brim, or lip, sits outside of the track. This is so the pin doesn't go too far in the track.
