SWISCO - The Replacement Hardware Authority

82-034 vs 82-074

A quick learner from NJ says:
What is the difference between 82-034 and 82-074? Is it only the finish? Also, is there a non-keyed equivalent?
Thanks!

Tom from SWISCO responded:
The difference between these two lock sets is how thick a door they can accommodate. As stated in the product description, the 82-034 is meant for 1-3/8" thick doors and the 82-075 is meant for 1-5/8" thick doors. They each come in multiple finishes, which you can view on their respective store pages. We do not carry a non-keyed equivalent.

Thank you for the prompt reply. My question was related to 82-034 vs. 82-074 (not 82-075). Thanks.

Oh, I'm sorry, I misread that. However, the differences are the same. The 82-074 and 82-075 are both meant for 1-5/8" thick doors, while the 82-034 is meant for 1-3/8" thick doors.
