87-147 window roller

A home owner from Arizona says:
So, today ordering 8 of these from Swisco. Is there an easy way that you know of to get The Originals out of the window frame? The window is new in 1986 and trash because of the weather and heat in Phoenix. I basically had to put a screwdriver in there and pry them out. Any other recommendations? It is also interesting the window manufacturer install DS at both the bottom and the top of the frame except the ones at the top of the frame don't have the metal wheel.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
Hmm... first, try to slide the roller housing out from the end of the sash rail. Maybe that would be a better way to remove them. You might need to take part of the window apart to do this, but it depends on what your window is. You may want the help of a local professional to do this, as it can be a project. You don't want to damage the frame or glass on accident.
