Acan window balance

A home owner from USA says:
How do I identify my specific Acan window? The windows balance/ballast mechanism is broken and there is nothing to hold it up. Other windows in my home are very difficult to open. Is there a way to duplicate this or should the ports be replaced? Do you have the replacement parts? Can I send a picture of the mechanism?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Yes, if you remove the balances from the window and take a few pictures of them, we can help you identify a replacement. We may require additional information and pictures, but let's see what kind of balances you have first so that we know what to ask for.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Ah, I see. This is a coil balance. First, watch our video on how to remove this kind of hardware.
Now, I'm not sure what exactly is broken, but since each component of coil balances are sold separately I will recommend everything. You can reuse your old hardware as long as it's not damaged, so only replace what's broken.

Start out by looking at our 15-111 shoe and compare its dimensions to yours. If you think this is a match, then I also recommend our Series 160 spring, 15-150T. Let me know if you agree.
