A quick learner from austin, texas says:
I have 4 28" long 1/2" wide 2040 channel balances from 20 year old Allenco aluminum windows that doesn't exactly match any of your pictures. Which one would work?

Thanks for posting! Before we offer any applicable replacement balances, I just need to know a bit more information about your bottom shoe.

Please refer to the bottom chart and pick out your shoe from the examples provided. Just by eyeballing your picture, I think it might be the 15-001, which would make your balance the Series 390, but I would like you to measure just to confirm.

YIKES! I typed the wrong stamp; the channel balance is a 2740 and 28" long and I need 4 of them for two windows.

the bottom attachment does not have wings and is 1 1/8" 15-001

the top attachment does have wings and is 1 1/4"

Thank you for the information! Can you confirm that the top attachment has wings? Looking at your pictures, it appears not to have any.
A quick learner from austin, texas says:
Yes, it has wings that stick out about 1/4" on each side. Thanks.

Thank you. Based on your description, then, your top attachment would be our 19-005. Please double check that this is the case. If it is, then you would need the S395-21 with the 2040 option.
