I'm afraid we do not have any specific instructions for this part, but I believe that you unscrew the two bottom frame screws, pull off the bottom rail, and then slide out the latch with the spring.

Done and done. I was nervous about getting aggressive with it but just pulled the rail off and easily replaced. All installed and working great. Thanks!
