Anderson Window Left side crank replacement parts

A home owner from Washington, DC says:
Hello,

I need to replace the crank hardware for an Anderson window. I believe the windows were installed in the early 1990s.

The photo shows that part of the plastic cover broke. This is not the main problem, however. When I turn the crank I can open the window but I cannot turn it to close. It seems as though it is not catching on the wheel (excuse my lack of parts-vocabulary) I keep the entire mechanism well-oiled. Can you tell me which replacement parts I will need to order?

Thank you very much,

Suzanna

Looks like you need a new operator. When that corkscrew bore comes out, it usually means the gears have stripped out. Take a look at our 39-147. This resembles what you have.
