Assistance with 84-100

A quick learner from Bloomfield Hills says:

Just ordered item # 84-100 and have a problem with fit. I noticed others had the same problem. The item is 16/32 in width and the current part is 14/32 in width. I've tried to spread the channel with little success. I need to know if there is any solution to the problem and if not I need to know how to process a return on the items. I ordered 12 of these and if I can't use them I need to return them. Thanks in advance for your attention to this.

I would suggest using a file in the door channel to make it wider. Also, try a spray lubricant like WD-40. That could help. Otherwise, I'm afraid there isn't really any alternative.
