Atrium H-719 part

I have a failed Atrium window and others that may go soon and have nailed the problem down to (I believe) failed nylon part:(H-719)Channel Balance Guide, 7/8",Product Code: 18-177

Is it possible that this breaking would allow my window to fall out?

I only have one failed window but I have seven windows that will soon follow suite and fail as well.

Can you suggest a feasible way to fix these windows without replacing them all? Would replacing these parts be a good start?

Hmmm... if the top sash guide broke, the balance would shoot straight up in the track. That could, in turn, cause the sash to fall out. Is that what happened? If so, I think replacing them would be a great place to start.
