Awning operator

A handy person from Red Bank, NJ says:
There are no markings on the part. Application is to operate horizontal windows on an enclosed sun porch. There are both left and right operators.

I believe you have an older style Silver Line awning operator with an e-ring stud at the end of the link arm. Take a look at the newer 39-025 operator, which has a screw sector at the end of the link arm for attaching to the window. I find the mounting screw (verses the e-ring) are a better method of attachment.
A quick learner says:
Thanks for your suggestion. The 39-025 operator has most of the dimensions. My operator link measures 2 1/2 on center, the 39-025 is 2 1/4. Will the operator achieve a secure seal with the link 1/4 inch short?

The linkage for this hardware always has a bit of play, so I think you should still be okay despite the difference.
