Balance ID

A quick learner from Lakeland, FL says:
I ordered S770-28 but it is not the same as my old balance.
I have attached the pictures from my old channel balancer( The old channel balancer has a 28F stamped on it, but the overall measurement from metal tip to metal tip is 29 inches and 30 inches with the hardware. The old channel balancer and the new one are the same exact width. Please help.

Thanks for posting. This looks more like our Series 380 channel balance. This comes with our 19-005 and 15-005 pre-attached before delivery. With a stamp of "28F," the metal channel should be 29" long. I recommend confirming that to be sure. I would also recommend the 2860 option based on that stamp.
A quick learner from Lakeland, Florida says:
Thank you for your knowledge. What is the 2860 option?

The option determines the strength of the spring. "28F" typically corresponds to our "2860," but you can always weigh your sash to confirm.
