Balancers for old Viking Windows

A home owner from Tacoma WA says:
I need to replace 3 balancers for Viking windows series 80/85 DH R 15 MST 4066. On the side of the balancer it reads 26 9 40# LT KS Caldwell. The length of the metal is just over 27" and the total length of the balancer is 28" To my untrained eye it looks much like the S395 but I can not tell how long it is from the photo. What is your conclusion? Thanks.

I agree, the Series 395 looks pretty close. This comes with the 19-005 top and 15-001 bottom, so as long as your nylon attachments are the same size as these you should be good to go. Based on your stamp, the length of the metal channel should be 27". I can't really confirm based on your pictures, you will have to use your best judgement. Make sure to only measure the metal channel. I would also recommend weighing your sash on a scale to determine the best option.

It looks like the shoes fit so we are going to try and wear them. The metal channel is 27". The sash weighs about 16lbs. so I am going with the 2630. Thanks for the support.
