Biltbest Casement Window Operator

A home owner from Saratoga Springs, NY says:
Hi, I'm looking to replace several of these operating cranks for a casement window. The rest of the window hardware works OK. The part says Biltbest Part 233 D.C. It is from a window form the 70's or 80's I imagine. It is approximately 4 5/8" wide and 1 3/4 deep. This one is left handed with a gold finish. The crank handle itself works OK, but might consider replacing that as well for appearance sake. The handle itself is marked P-234 D.C.. Hope you can help me. Michael

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Your BiltBest operator is no longer available, I'm afraid, nor are any other parts for you window. Since this is a casement window, I would suggest retrofitting something like our 39-027E operator along with the 39-114L handle and 39-533 track. You might also need to cut or fabricate a new "sill cover" to accept the different style operator. I think you should contact a local professional to help you with this project.
