Broken Caldwell Balance

A home owner from FL says:
Balance is marked "29 3 BQ Caldwell".
Length of the metal bar is 30" (not including the plastic ends).

Can anyone confirm the correct replacement?
Thank you in advance.

Please see our Series 395 channel balance. This may be the balance you want.
A home owner from Florida says:
Thank you for the quick reply.

The markings on the original balance show 29 3.
Does this confirm I need stamp option 2930?

Also, when measuring the metal block, I only measure the metal without the plastic ends correct? The metal block is 30" not including the plastic ends (so I would order the 30" S395)?

Thanks again in advance.
A home owner from Florida says:
Sorry, one more question...

You mention: "This may be the balance you want."

Does this mean we aren't 100% the S395 is the correct replacement?

Thank you again for your help.

I think the Series 395 is a close match, but the only way to be 100% sure is if you compare your dimensions to your own measurements. This includes measurements of your nylon fittings. It's difficult to tell what these measurements are based on pictures of a tape measurer, since they get so specific, so you will have to measure as closely as you can and use your best judgement.

Yes, you only measure the metal channel, so if yours is 30" you'd go with the S395-30. I would also recommend the 2930 option, but if you want to be 100% sure for that, as well, you can always weigh your sash.

Thank you Paul!

S395 was an exact match and installed with ease.

Shipping was fast as well.

I will use Swisco for all my window needs going forward.

Thanks again for your help!
