Broken handle

A home owner from Hawaii says:
Has made in New Zealand, no other identifying info.. Believe it's Pella. Broken handle is the non-locking one, just pulls a 4' glass slider.

Took it apart to show the small broken cylindric part on the photos below. No idea what held it in place as I don't see threading in the remaining cylinder.

Sent a photo months ago... A previous inquiry for window latch replacement was handled almost instantly. Am hoping you can help, would rather not have to replace both handles as the locking one works.
