Capital Coil balances

A contractor from connecticut says:
This balance and pivot pin are from what I believe is a Capital double hung window. The upper sash weighs approximately 17.2 pounds the lower sash 18 pounds. This double coil balance is installed to carry the upper sash, the lower sash has a single coil balance.
Both pivot pins have a T head The holes are located 1-3/16 and 2 inches from the tee end. The pin is 3 inches long and approximately 1/4 x 3/16 of an inch in cross-section.
Do you think your S140

I do not believe the Series 140 is what you have. See our 15-180 pivot shoe, Series 190 coil spring, 15-181 detent clip, and 26-378 pivot bar. I believe you'll find this hardware matches what you have now.
