Caradco window operators

A home owner from Wayland, MA says:
One of the Caradco window operators in my condo does not open the window when cranked unless the closed window is started to open by manually pushing it. There seem to be too much play in the crank rotation.
The arms of the opening mechanism are marked "EntryGuard" and "20755". the Caradco name is on the interior housing of the actuator.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
It sounds like the gears are a little worn out, so it'd be a good idea to replace the operator mechanism. Now, the numbers you gave us aren't the best method of identifying a match, but you could start by looking at our 39-155 and 39-156. These may be what you need. I highly recommend going over our pictures and dimensions to confirm that everything is the same.
