Case Runners with Heavy Duty Sockets

A quick learner from Douglasville, GA says:
My runners are broken on some of my dresser drawers as well as the sockets. I am going to replace the sockets with the heavy duty ones. After watching your videos, I am wondering if the case runner is necessary with the heavy duty sockets. Please advise.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Are you referring to our 32-082 heavy duty Kenlin socket? If so, then you do still need the 32-076 case runner to make sure the drawer slides properly.
