Channel Balance Weight

A quick learner from Colorado says:
I have identified I need S385 27" channel balance. My question is the balancer I removed from the window is marked on the spine 26 5 CX CMC 11. Which suggests I need the 2650 option. When I weighed the sash it weighs 19LBS. Which option should I choose?

My recommendation: double-check the Series (you should have wings on both plastic pieces and the bottom shoe should match the dimension in the photo below) and double-check the sash weight. If you're really dealing with a 19 pound window, you can choose either 2630 for less lift or 2640 for more lift. If your window weighs 18 and change, go with 2630; for anything above 19.0 pounds (even 19.1!), go with 2640. If your window weighs more than 26 pounds, the original 2650 stamp could be accurate. Just choose the option that matches your precise sash weight.
