Channel Balances

A handy person from Cape Coral, Florida says:
I need two channel balances for a Norandex 6 over 6 Single Hung aluminum window. They are stamped BSI 3630, and the metal channel is 37 inches long, and nominally 1/2 " wide by 5/8" deep. The windows are NON-TILT.

The top fitting appears to be 19-005 , but without dimensions, I cannot tell.

The bottom looks like 15-002, but the thickness on mine is 7/8" shy (actually 27/32"), not the 1" shown on the website. Perhaps it can be shaved down on site, if it is too tight.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
It could be shaved down, yes. Also keep in mind your shoe may have worn down with use from its original depth of 1".

I can custom make a balance for you with these specifications, but if you're going to shave the shoe down anyway, you could also just go with the standard Series 395 channel balance. This comes with the 19-005 top and 15-001 shoe. Let me know what you'd like to do.
