Channel balance

A quick learner from Indianapolis says:
The balance I have, measures 25" metal to metal , The stamp says 24 4 EJ , I am unsure which size to order it is a heavier window approx 30

Assuming that you are correct in identifying your balance as an S385-25, and that your window sash weighs 30 pounds, you would need a 2465 stamp option.

If "30 pounds" is an estimate, you will want to weigh your sash to be certain. A 29 pound sash would be best with a 2460 stamp, so it's best to be precise. However, as I just said, if the sash does, in fact, weigh 30 pounds, 2465 is the proper stamp. Let us know if you think that sounds right.
