Channel balance & take-out clip

A handy person from King City, CA says:
I need a replacement channel-balance and a few "take-out" clips to replace one broken one I have and to have a couple of spares just in case.
The broken Channel balance is a half-inch wide by 29 inch long [plastic tip to plastic tip]. Markings on the damaged channel balance read: 27 3 JT CMC 4.
The spring is 10 inches long [end coil to end coil] and uses what appears to be a 4 to 1 mini block and tackle purchase.

I do all of my own maintenance and am pretty handy. My mechanic friends say I can...in their words..."...turn a wrench.

I'm afraid I cannot identify what you have based on this information alone. The stamp is only indicative of the spring strength calibration, it's not otherwise used for identification. I recommend that you look at our Channel Balance Home Page and follow the steps in order to find the Series that best matches what you have. As for the take out clip, see our 16-002. This may be a match.
