Childproofing Storm Door

A home owner from Cary, NC says:

I am trying to childproof a metal storm door -- my son keeps trying to get out of the door we have now, so I want to be able to lock it from inside the house. Would this product do that? How would I attach it to the metal door?

Good afternoon! I see you were looking at the 40-011 barrel bolt. That's not a bad place to start. I definitely think you should consider it as an option. You could also look at our 40-039 keyed deadbolt.
