Coil balance replacement

A handy person from Norfolk, VA says:
I have vinyl clad, tilt windows with two coils on each side of the window. The 2 coils on one side of the window are broken. How do I determine the weight rating for each of the coils? Should I replace all of the coils at the same time?
A handy person from Norfolk, VA says:
There is no number stamped on the broken coils, however, they look like the Series 152 coils.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
If your coil springs have no numbers printed on them, tell me the weight of your sash. We can use that to calculate which Series 152 spring it is you need. Thanks!
A handy person from Norfolk, VA says:
The sash weighs 12 lbs. should I replace all 4 springs?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Great, thanks. I would recommend our S152-3, then. Each spring can carry 3 pounds, so four working together can carry 12.

It may be a good idea to replace all four, yes. That way the new springs won't have to work extra hard to make up the slack in the old springs.
