Thanks for posting, Mike. Take a look at our 15-177 pivot shoe and Series 152 spring. Do these look good to you? Keep in mind that our spring is meant to be screwed on to the 15-177.

What weight for the 152 spring is ideal for standard bathroom window? Also, are you just calling out the difference between my pivot shoe vs. the 15-177 stating that it is meant to be screwed or do I need to consider the impact of having to screw the sping into the pivot show.

There shouldn't be much of a difference, I was just saying that our springs are attached to the screw differently.

As for what strength springs you need for your window, I can't really say. There is no standard bathroom window, they all vary. You will have to weigh it and see what it comes up to.

Keep in mind that coil balances are different than other types. You would divide the sash weight to see what strength coils you need. For example, if your sash is 16 pounds, you would need two 8 pound coil balances.
