Wool Pile with dlexible backing

A quick learner from Luthersburg says:
The track in the removable double hung aluminium windows that I have (no name available), are not made to slide new wool pile in place. However using a small straight screw driver I can remove the old ones as the backing seems to be made of cloth. Due to wear it is hard to tell if I need the 58-001 or 58-002 as replacement. Do either one of these have a flexible backing that I can use a putty knife to press them in place? The old strip is grey in color and I'm leaning towards using the 58-002. How much does the 1/32 difference in height mean to the installation and operation of the windows for sliding up and down? The tracks on these windows are not made to slide the wool pile out.

Hmm...from your storm panels, I would suggest our 58-002 wool pile would be the better option for you.
