Counter balance parts needed

A quick learner from Dallas, tx says:
I believe that I have 2001-2002 Atrium vynal single hung windows and need help finding replacement parts. They are hard to move up and down. I can not find the counter balance that I need for these windows and am also struggling on finding instruction on how to remove the sash to make the repairs. Any help would be appreciated. I probably need to order 10 sets of counter balances and possibly more.

The manufacturer of you window is Danvid, who are out of business. They used something like our Series 306 balance, but it used the 15-142 balance shoe. Can you confirm that this is what you have?

It is difficult to remove and replace your balance because the sashes are not removable, but there is a way. With someone helping you, you will need to drop the new balance in from the top of the sash, screw it in at the top, then let the spiral drop down. You will then raise the sash and, while someone holds the sash in the open position, spin the spiral up to the bottom of the sash. Finally, with our 75-004 tool, give the balance about three turns to charge it and lock it to the end into the sash clip.
