Covers and Handles for Marvin casement windows

Want to replace covers and handles of 1983-1 Marvin casement windows with folding handle and covers. Quantity 3 - 2 right hand and one left. Marvin states that Part 10814854 (ant. brass) handle, flip is correct part, but am quoted a price of $244 for each! Opening is 5" current cover 5- 1/8", center mount handle. Height of cover 1-1/8". Color is immaterial, although brass would be nice.

Our 39-107 and 39-102 look like they could work, but it seems the gear bore of the operator has come out. If that has happened, then the gears of your operator have been stripped and the whole thing needs to be replaced.

Please open your casement window as far as it can go and show me a few pictures of the operator arms fully extended. That will give us a better idea of what can work as a replacement.

You are correct that the gear has a problem. There is a small chip at the bottom of the gear and that window does not open; this is the left hand operator.

The arms of the right hand operator have been replaced and it is labelled Entry Guard Truth - the number on the short arm is 20810A
