Looking at back at my old catalog concerning Amarlite commercial doors, it does state to use either the 58-127 or 58-179 wool pile. Check to make sure your wool pile groove is cleaned out. Try using a small flat blade screw driver or possibly a utility knife. Be careful not to get cut with the razor blade. Also consider using a spray lubricant like WD-40.
