Do I have the Series 372?

A quick learner says:
Hi,

I have measured that the length of the channel balance is 24”, and the width is 0.5”, the weight code is 2340. It seems that I need S372-24, am I right? I am not sure if my top and shoe match your top 19-004 and shoe 15-031. Thanks for your help. Your website is just awesome!

Good morning! Thanks for posting. I don't think you have the Series 372 channel balance, actually. Your bottom shoe more closely resembles our 15-004 or 15-005, it's just that some of the shoe has broken off, it seems. As for the top attachment, it may be our 19-004, but it also may not. It's hard to say whether it is a 19-005 that has broken, as well.

At this point, I think it might be best if we see an undamaged version of your hardware. Check the other balance in the window and see if it's the same. If it's whole, how does it compare to the mentioned attachments?
A quick learner says:
Hi,

Thanks for your response. I took out a balance from another window that's working, and took a picture of both the shoe and the top. It seems to me that the shoe matches your 15-005, but I am a bit confused by the top. I think this (2nd) top matches your 19-004, but this top looks different from the previous top I have given you earlier.

Thanks for your help!

Ah, I see. Check out our Series 371 channel balance. Does this look like a good match to you? I think it's a little closer than the Series 372 but take a look and see if you agree.
