Drip rail screws and rail for swing shower door

A home owner from Sacramento says:
The rail is not as wide as the door bottom, and I'd like to know how to position the rail (left to right) on the door? Also, do you have the replacement screw? There are three screws, pan head, phillips, sheet metal threading (pointed), look like galvanized steel. Length of screw is 5/16" total, 1/4" threaded.

I would suggest that you cut the 10-324 to the same length as your original sweep. You can't have the drip rail too wide or it will hit the side jamb door stops on the main frame of the shower enclosure. We also recommend the 33-073 #6 screw, but you say your screws are 1/4" threaded. Not sure if the 33-071 screw is thick enough for the existing holes. You might need to reuse your existing screws or check with a local hardware store.
