Forever Door screen replacement

55-109, is a flat rigid screen spline that is normally used to repair Forever Door screens, we have not come across a different material used by that company. If your original spline looks like the 55-109 you cannot replace it with a different spline and you must use standard screen mesh, it will not hold the thicker paw proof pet screening material.
A quick learner from Long Island NY says:
I am replacing the screen on a forever door. I am using a diffrent grade screen because I have 2 dogs. Can I use the foam spline? Which diameter would I use?
A home owner says:
I have had a Forever self-storing screen door for over 15 years. I now have to replace the screening, but have not been able to figure out how to get the screen out of the door to do so.
