Help me replace my Channel Balance

A handy person from Chicago, IL says:
Larger balance has m 40-4 stamped on the side. Smaller balance had 17S23 stamped on the side. Both are 1/2" in width. Smaller balance is 18" in length, larger is 41".

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Good morning! We don't have a 40" balance as a standard length, so yours will have to be specially made.

Before we can recommend a Series for you, however, I'll have to figure out what your bottom shoe is for the longer and shorter balance. Please look at the measurements for our 15-001 and 15-002 bottom shoes and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-1/8" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which measurement more closely resembles your own shoe?

The shoe size for both are exactly 1 1/8". Thanks!

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Great! That should be everything we need.

For the shorter balance, check out our S390-18. As for the longer balance, check out this Custom Channel Balance Order Form I've started for you based on your specifications and fill out the rest of the information. One of our representatives will get in touch with you shortly thereafter with a price quote.

Thanks Tom. I've filled out the form and submitted it.
A handy person from Chicago, IL says:
Hi Tom, Which S390-18 do I need as far as weight is concerned. The small balance says 17S23 so does that mean I need something that supports 23lbs? And is that 23lbs total or each balance must support 23lbs?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
What is the weight of your sash? Does it all under any of the options we show on that chart?

It would be 23 pounds total. All of our options' strengths are based on the idea that two balances are supporting that weight together.
