Help replacing an old/broken handleset

A quick learner from Fullerton says:
Hello, we have a couple of old sliding glass patio doors that the thumb latches have either broken off or due to years of use have simply worn away. I was hoping that you could help me identify a suitable (form, fit and function) handle set to replace these broken units with.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
We don't have anything exactly like this, but our 82-032 is similar. It also appears to have the same hole spacing. The only issue is that where your handle slides up and down to activate the internal latch, the 82-032 simply has a turn lever. See what you think.
A quick learner from Fullerton, CA says:
Thanks Dave.

I agree that that unit will most likely provide the best solution for our application here at the college.

In fact, I ordered two of them from Steve @ SWISCO yesterday and am looking forward to their arrival next week.

Best regards!
