Start by looking at our S385-21 and S380-21. I believe one of these balances could be what you need, depending on the size of your bottom shoe. Which is closer, based on your own measurements?
A quick learner from Orange county CA says:
I've received the 21" Series 385 Channel Balance today, as the stamp shown 20 4 so I chose option 2040 now the tension is too strong, Any idea how to make it lighter.
Thanks

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I would also recommend the 2040 option for a 20 4 stamp. I'm surprised it's too strong. Did you ever find your old balance to be too strong?

I'm afraid there's no way to adjust it. You would need a new balance entirely. Before you do anything, though, tell me what the weight of your sash is.
