Hinge Arm For Pella Casement Window

A quick learner from Levittown, New York says:
The 10 in hinge I have seems to be connected more towards the bottom. Part 39-395 is more towards the middle. Can I use this part? My Pella window dates back to the late 80s

Hello! I'm afraid we haven't been able to find a 10" version of the 39-352 with that different mounting position. It's possible you could drill it out and re-rivet into position, but that may be more trouble than it's worth. Our 39-395 comes to mind. This has the arm in the proper position, but is only 9-5/8" long. The 39-397 also has that same placement, but is 12". You may be able to substitute with a different size. Personally, going shorter may be best.

At the end of the day, I'm not sure how moving to a different size will impact your window. On other brand windows, being only 3/8" off wouldn't be that big of a deal, but Pella tends to be very specific. If you are able to drill out and re-rivet the arm, that may be your best solution.
