Hope casement window operator

A home owner from Key Largo Fl says:
I have a Hope RH operator that has a 9.5 inch arm. The part # 39-354 looks to be the replacement operator. Also the worm gear engages the sector gear on the arm on the other side (inside of radius instead of outside of radius). Will the worm gear location change the force needed to open or close the window? Also, what will the half inch difference in the arm length do to the opening and closing of the window?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
Yes, I have seen the worm gear on the inside of the arm sector. That is not manufactured anymore that way. About the length... I do not believe the 1/2" will be a problem.
