How is the 59-236 installed?

A quick learner from Ocala, FL says:
I have rescreened sliding screen doors on our garage using the round spline. I hate these splines. My roller invariably will cut the screen I am trying to install. The slot is 3/16" wide. There was a rigid spline in the original installation. They were u shaped and made the rescreening job very easy as the roller would fit right into the slot;I was not able to reused all of the original splines, however, and I could not find them anywhere in stores or on the internet. Your T spline 59-236 at 7/32" may be an answer but I am not sure how it is installed. Help!

I do not think the 59-236 is the replacement you are looking for, but it installs similar to the round spline (just is a bit harder and possibly a little tricky).

Have you tried the round foam spline?

What kind of sliding doors do you have?
