How long before replacing the pile weatherstripping

Hi. I am a member of a big housing coop project than had new windows installed about 36 years ago. As some of our members discovered recently, the pile weatherstripping is gone or almost gone. The question is what is life span of it and what is the best price we could get for hundreds of double windows. Thank you and best regards.

The life span of wool pile weather stripping is fifteen to twenty years depending how often the windows are opening and closing. As for pricing, it depends entirely on what kind of seal it is. For reference, you can see our entire selection of weatherseal here.
