How to add sash lifts to new vinyl windows

A quick learner from Mountain View says:
I have new vinyl double-hung windows. Is it possible to add a sash lift to the bottom of the the vinyl. If so, how would I drill it? Thank you!

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
Start by looking at our 26-116 and 26-174 window lifts, along with the 33-080 screw. You could install these directly to the face of the sash. My only concern is that when installing these handles, you have to be sure you don't drill into the glass. Be very careful; you might want a contractor familiar with your windows to install these handles.
