How to install the 82-009A

I just bought the 82-009A but there was no instruction. How do you install this handle set?

The 82-009A just screws right on the door. That's pretty much the extent of it. Where exactly are you running into issues?

I think your model # 82-009A will work in my situation, but I need to know if there is a lever in the handle that causes the silver metal clasp to lock in place on the receiving jamb.

Your photo does not show one, but it may be behind the handle, out of view.
