Hoe does one remove the roller latches from bottom of heavy mirrored sliding door?

First, you will need to remove the door from the frame and place it on a stable surface. Once that's out, you will need to remove the screw holding the roller to the frame. All that's holding it in at that point are the hooks on the side. You will have to firmly but gently work the roller out until the hooks are free. I recommend using a pair of needle nose pliers to get a better grip as you do this.
A professional from CA says:
I think he means how to pull the roller out of the track. It usually just takes a firm lifting motion. I take weight off the door with one hand and put my finger in the hole and yank up gently but firmly. The tabs are springy.
