I dont understand how 39-264 works with 39-362

I just received a replacement crank arm operator & adapter plate. I'm confused as to how the adapter is to be installed. do the 2 tangs go down into the wood slot or face up & position the mechanism??

Thanks for posting! no, the two tangs go up and clip on the frame of the 39-264. Check out the animated image below.

How to assemble the 39-264 with the 39-362

After that, it should just screw into the frame.
