I need a window balance shoe

A handy person from Salt Lake City says:

I hope you can help me. I need to replace the window balance shoes.

Problem is that the originals were completely broken and mostly missing. I've ordered two shoes already and neither of them work -

I can tell that the original has 'wings' in the back.

I ordered 15-004 (1 3/32") and then couldn't get the window back into place. It seemed like the shoe was to tall and there wasn't enough room to push the window to one side and get the other side in.

So, I ordered 15-005 (1") and it too is too big.

Is there a shoe that is 3/4" or something smaller than 1"?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I'm afraid there is no shoe smaller than 1" that we know of. Without any original hardware to go off of, it will be next to impossible to know what you need. Do you have an identical window in the house that may use the same hardware?
