Current stamp is stronger than sash weight

A home owner from San Clemente says:
I think I need 33" Series 390 Channel balances
Channel inside width is 1/2"
The top matches the size of 19-002
The bottom matches the size of 15-001 (1-1/8 deep)
The marking is 32 5 Caldwell FM
The windows weighs 26 lbs.

Should I order 3240 for 23-28 lbs. or 3250 for 28-32 lbs ?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Your original stamp, "32 5," corresponds to our 3250, but that appears to be too strong compared to your sash weight. Did you ever find your window to be difficult to operate in the past? I'm not sure why the original installers used a stronger spring, since there is no benefit.

Double check the weight of your sash, just in case. If it is, in fact, 26 pounds, then I would suggest the 3240.
