Identifying a Replacement Part with mortise style handle

A contractor from san luis obispo, ca says:
July 31, 2017
home built in 1975, Ive tried several handles without success.
screw spacing is 3 3/8" as shown in photos. Mortise latch inside with 45 deg keyhole located on lower end of screw spacing.

Hm... looks like you have an old Marshal patio handle, which I believe is no longer available. I suggest using the 82-020 handle and drilling new holes to mount the handle. Compare measurements between your part and the part on our site, and let me know if that seems like something you can manage.
