Installation of replacement roller 84-016

A home owner from Toronto, Canada says:
Hi, I've just placed an order for the 84-016. Can you tell me if replacement instructions are included with the parts or are they on the web site? I have the guides and the glossary, but I don't see anything. Thank you, Mary Anne

To remove the roller from the corner spread apart the connecting tabs with a small screw driver. If roller adjustment is not working the problem may be the actual corner (95-020) that this wheel snaps onto. The side corner adjustment could be stripped or broken. To replace the 95-020 corner you need to completely take the door apart to replace with new corners, including removing the screen mesh. When you have the corner removed from the door check to see if the appearance and measurements match up to the one on our site. After you have replaced the corners you can snap the screen door rollers onto the corners.

There is not an actual instructional guide available to replace the 84-016. It is important to pay close attention to what and where you are removing hardware so you can replace it in the same manner. It may help to take photos before and during the removal of hardware, to have a reference to install new hardware.
A home owner from Gold Canyon, AZ says:
Re 84-016 Roller. What metal is the housing for the plastic roller. I have a small beach house in Mexico, and the original screen rollers were all metal. I made the mistake of not taking the screen down for the winter and the rollers were completely frozen when I got back in the Spring. So I hope the housing of 84-016 is either stainless or brass. It may be just possible that the plastic roller will take care of the corrosion problem

We just added a new product, 84-101, it is this roller but with a stainless steel housing.
A handy person from ct says:
I'm wondering if you can order just the replacement wheel for this part. I do not need the housing.

This roller assembly is put together during the manufacturing process. The wheel is not sold separately.
