Installing 82-107

A home owner from Pleasantvillle,, NY says:
Hi there -- I just purchased this piece. It looks like the right one. I want to install it but there are no instructions. Is this something i can do myself easily enough or do i need a locksmith?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
The manufacturer suggest pushing the lock nut around the lever stem with a flat blade screw driver. Just make sure to take your time and push it a little at each side, going around it in a circle. It can be a little tricky to install, though it is definitely possible to do it yourself. If you're having trouble, though, you may want the help of a locksmith to do the job.
A professional from CA says:
I usually set the lever on a block of wood and place a small socket (from a socket wrench set) over the shaft to tap the push nut on.
